VSA PRESIDENT ANTHONY MOKOENA ELECTED ZONE V1 VICE PRESIDENT

Volleyball South Africa scooped yet another accolade when its President, Anthony Mokoena was elected the Vice President of Zone V1 at the Zone’s Elective Congress held via the Zoom platform on Tuesday, 10 November 2020.

Given Mokoena’s administrative track-record that spans a 40 year period and his willingness to focus on the job at hand tipped the scales in his favour by the ten (10) countries’ delegates that participated in the elective congress that was overseen by CAVB’s newly elected President Madam Bouchra from Morocco.

While Mokoena, who is making his debut as a volleyball administrator in Zone V1 will be 2nd in charge, veteran administrator from Mozambique, Mr. Khalid Cassam who served the Zone as the Secretary-General was elected as the new President.

The VSA President received congratulatory messages from around the country.
